I wrote this poem in 1987, today I sat at my pc and produced each individual slide.  The singer is the amazing BESS , she is incredible and “Alone” sung by her is the number 1 hit on my radio show.

Bianca Ghika, a resident of Santorini, was born in Athens and raised in many countries around the world; she speaks several languages, loves to travel, writing, radio show hosting and producing, photography, and ancient civilizations among other things. She graduated in Biology at Trent University in Ontario and holds several diplomas in Travel, Accounting and Business.

A past member of the “Society of Developmental Biology”, “Genetics Society of Canada”, “Toronto Real Estate Board”, “Ontario Real Estate Board” and “Canadian Real Estate Board”.

Her love for Greece begun in 1992 during a back packing trip in Europe, since she came back to her motherland many times exploring Greece from every possible angle; then a glorious morning in November of 2008 she woke up, called her best friend in Greece, Kikos, and announced that she had decided to make Greece her permanent home, of course her best friend convinced her to move to Santorini and so she did.

Bianca has amazing writing and investigative skills, she has published numerous articles, the first laboratory manual of cell biology at Trent University and has written and published many poems and songs during her lifetime. At present she writes and publishes her work in www.cafehellas.com under the pseudonym “Theano’s Wisdom”  

Bianca produced and hosted the Radio Show “Siempre en Domingo con Bianca” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at Ondas Hispanas radio  CiRV 88.9fm, in Spanish  from the winter of 2003 to the end of summer of 2006.  Now produces and hosts “World Roads with Bianca” at Top Melody Santorini 104.9fm in English and Greek in Santorini, Kyklades, Greece.

The aim of the show is to promote some of the best songs written and performed from artists around the world, giving an emphasis to Latin America and Greece. The topics discussed vary as greatly as Bianca’s interests; Sexual problems and solutions, new archaeological finds, human behaviour, self esteem issues, amusing situations and events and new discoveries in all scientific  aspects among other things, all of them seen with a little humour and  sarcasm. Come and listen to the show it will be a gratifying experience to your senses.
